Managements have called in Fleet Street Flair to produce highly sensitive communications during acquisitions, takeovers and reorganisations.

It produced a weekly newsletter for Danish-owned FLS Aerospace's takeover of the engineering arm of Aer Lingus, the Irish national airline.

The integration of the two aircraft maintenance companies involved the coming together of two distinct cultures.

The two companies were not just from different countries. FLS Aerospace is and always has been a commercial company. TEAM Aer Lingus had been part of a nationalised industry.

Communicating the steps of the integration to two staffs of well over 3,000 individuals required great sensitivity and tact.
